What is a Byte Box?
The Byte Box is a protective enclosure that keeps
your equipment cooler and cleaner. Heat sensitive components
like CPUs, RAM memory and hard drives, will run cooler. Our
tests demonstrated the Byte Box will reduce heat.
The Byte Box helps servers CPU's to operate with
fewer break downs. Byte Box will filter dust, dirt and abrasives
out of the air. Allowing clean cooler circulation around these
components that will extend their life.
Byte Boxes arrive assembled ready for use. Byte boxes include:
- Locking access door (an option with some competitors)
- Raised floors to support CPU's with feet to get the Byte
Box off of the floor (an option with some competitors)
- Heat exhaust fan (an option with some competitors)
- Acrylic lens in the door for visual monitoring
- Installed filters (with free set of replacements)
- Metal construction on stock units
US Patent No. 5,646,823
Byte Box is the only patented airflow system that
exhausts raising heat as it pulls clean, filtered air into the
system to cool. Air goes through filters then chimneys around
and through the computer. Inside, the temperature in the Byte
Box is 3-4º cooler because of this chimney effect. Filters,
(V-series) will stop dust oil and other air born particles down
to 0.05 micron. Byte Box helps servers, computers and other
sensitive electronic equipment to run with fewer breakdowns.
